Healing Guide

Days 1-3

Keep lips moisturized with provided aftercare balm. Avoid touching, picking, or getting lips wet. Some swelling is normal.

Days 4-7

Lips will begin to flake and peel — this is normal! Do not pick at the flaking skin. Color may appear lighter during this phase.

Weeks 2-6

Color will gradually return and settle into its final shade. Avoid sun exposure and swimming pools. Your true color will emerge.

Does it hurt?

A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the procedure. Most clients describe the sensation as a slight tingling or vibration, far less painful than expected.

How long does it last?

Lip blushing typically lasts 2-3 years depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. Annual touch-ups can extend the longevity.

Who is a good candidate?

Most people are great candidates! However, lip blushing is not recommended for those who are pregnant, nursing, or have certain skin conditions. We'll discuss eligibility during your consultation.

What's the downtime?

Expect mild swelling for 1-2 days. Your lips will look vibrant initially, then peel and lighten before settling into their final color at around week 4-6.
